Meet Dr. Jennifer Styons, Medical Director
Dr. Jennifer Styons is the Medical Director for Valleygate Dental Surgery Center of Charlotte and a board-certified anesthesiologist with
specialized expertise in pediatric anesthesia. She is certified by both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pediatric Anesthesiology.
Dr. Styons completed her Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN, from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, she trained at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she completed a Combined Pediatrics/Anesthesiology Residency from 2013 to 2018.
Her medical journey began at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX, where she earned her Doctorate of Medicine (2009-2013). Before pursuing medicine, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Abilene Christian University, Abilene Intercollegiate School of Nursing, graduating magna cum laude in 2003.
Dr. Styons is dedicated to providing exceptional anesthesia care, particularly for pediatric patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during medical procedures.
