Meet Dr. Ojas Parikh, Dental Director
Dr. Ojas Parikh, a board-certified pediatric dentist, acts as Dental Director for Valleygate Dental Surgery Center of Charlotte. Parikh grew up in Olney, Maryland, where his passion for helping others and dedication to healthcare began. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
He then pursued advanced specialization with a Pediatric Dentistry Residency and Master of Science in Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
As a board-certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Parikh is also an active member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Now residing in Mooresville, North Carolina, with his wife Maitry and their two children, Dr. Parikh enjoys immersing himself in the local community. Outside the clinic, he loves exploring new restaurants, reading, and listening to music. He also plays the tabla, an Indian percussion instrument, and has a unique talent for beatboxing from his days as the vocal percussionist for his college acapella group.
Dr. Parikh is passionate about empowering kids to take care of their smiles and overall health, always excited to hear about the new things they’re curious about and learning. His friendly and encouraging approach makes him a trusted advocate for young patients and their families, and his dedication to pediatric dental health is at the heart of his work.
